This year's ILTA conference was our busiest ILTA to date. It was held at National Harbor, home of the Gaylord National Resort, the Capital Wheel and the Awakening sculpture outside Washington DC. This year DocsCorp was a platinum sponsor and had a new booth on display.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth or the demo room to catch up on the latest news. It was our busiest ILTA to date.
For DocsCorp the big news at the conference was compareDocs cloud. Running on the Microsoft Azure platform, compareDocs cloud enables anyone to compare documents (Word to Word, PDF to PDF, and Word to PDF) for differences on any device, and on the go!
More specifically, compareDocs cloud is available to Office 2013/2016 users and Office 365 users on PC, Mac and mobile devices. It is also available for Windows 10 users and runs on any compatible device: phone, laptop, desktop or Surface. Check out the new compareDocs cloud for O365 video.
Also announced at the conference was contentCrawler cloud for ensuring all image-based documents in your Document Management System are 100% searchable. contentCrawler cloud integrates with SharePoint Online and NetDocuments to provide OCR and compression services. contentCrawler is also available as an on-premises solution. Every year the ILTA conference kicks off with the Vendor Evening party. This year's theme was "Around the World with ILTA Vendors." The DocsCorp crew got into the spirit with characters and scenes from Venice, Italy, complete with a gondola, gondoliers, and Venetian masks. That's me in the Medico Della Peste mask- I was able to put my theatrical training to use on the night. You may have seen our gondola sail up and down the aisles at the conference. Congratulations to the team who finished up in 4th place for the best costumes and display.
Yetis and a Microsoft Surface Pro were the prizes on offer at the DocsCorp booth during the conference. Congratulations to all our bingo winners.
I just got an email from ILTA informing me that planning for ILTA 17 has begun, time to start thinking about booths and vendor evening all over again!
