Your data security and the cloud
In the age of cloud-based software and datacenters, it’s important you retain complete control of your own data. This means knowing where your data is, and more importantly, knowing it is always on your premises or datacenter until you choose to communicate or publish that data or document with someone else outside your organization.
DocsCorp will always let you control where your data is stored. All DocsCorp software ensures that your data is stored only on the Desktop or Server that YOU choose.
Whilst many software applications promote the fact that they are assisting you by holding your data in the cloud, DocsCorp believes that this should only be when you want it to. DocsCorp software stores its data on the computer you nominate. For example, when you choose to use DocsCorp software to assist you in the process of emailing documents to someone outside your organization, DocsCorp does not store your documents in the cloud. Your documents remain in your email store and in the email store of the person to whom you sent it.
Of course, DocsCorp software can be installed on cloud-based servers or datacenters if you choose, and will operate perfectly in virtualized or Terminal Services environments. Your data will only be stored on the Servers or Desktops you nominate.
Your information is confidential
Details about your organization and your staff are valuable to you, and DocsCorp understands that this is provided confidentially. This information may have been provided to DocsCorp directly, or via one of its resellers. DocsCorp will not sell or otherwise share information about you with other organizations or DocsCorp resellers with whom you have not engaged directly. Information about you will only be used by DocsCorp to communicate details about our products and services. If you believe that this information has been shared without your approval, please do not hesitate to alert us to this so we can ensure continued privacy of your information.
